Pope, pope, pope.

The coverage makes me mope.

I may sound like a dope,

But I’m not at all religious.

I guess I should have hope

They find a way to cope

And stop the priests who grope.

That should not sound ambitious.

Just let the priests elope.

Bring women in the scope --

Should gays be punished? Nope!

Stop being so malicious!

Sigh … If Jesus came today

You think that He would say

“You guys are A-OK,

Keep going on your way”?

A pope who will obey

The wishes of the lay

And stop, and think, and pray

Might get more folks to stay.
